Jerry is a founding principal of A10 Capital and responsible for leading and running all aspects of the business. Jerry has 15 years and over $2 billion of commercial finance and securitization experience. Jerry was previously the youngest Executive Vice President and member of the Senior Management Committee at Bank of the West. Bank of the West is one of the 25 largest banks in the country based in San Francisco, and a wholly owned subsidiary of BNP Paribas, one of the largest banks in the world. In his role as Chief of Staff, Jerry was the right-hand man for the Vice Chairman, assisting him in the management of the bank’s largest business group including: nearly 700 branches serving retail customers and small businesses in 19 states, over 30 commercial banking offices serving middle market companies, a direct and indirect consumer finance division, a home mortgage lending division, an investments division, a property and casualty insurance division, construction lending, and private banking. The group had over 7,000 employees and a $25 billion balance sheet.

Jerry has had extensive experience in successful start-up financial service businesses. Prior to joining the bank, Jerry co-founded and was CEO of Aviation Finance Group (AFG), a full-service commercial lending business that specialized in financing corporate jet and turboprop aircraft on a nationwide basis.

AFG originated nearly $1 billion with very little loan loss and no investor loss before being acquired by PNC Bank in 2004. Prior to AFG, Jerry was also involved in the start-up of Commercial Lending Corporation (CLC), a full-service commercial lending business specialized in financing franchise businesses on a nationwide basis. CLC was sold to AMRESCO Commercial Finance, Inc. in 1997. Prior to this, Jerry was a Corporate Financial Analyst for Dean Witter Reynolds’ investment banking department in New York City. While at Dean Witter, he was involved in a broad range of private and public offerings and merger, acquisition, and divestiture transactions for general industrial companies.

Jerry attended Colorado State University on a full athletic scholarship and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Business Administration with concentrations in finance and accounting. Jerry is a Certified Public Accountant and an Operating Partner with Stripes Group, a Wall Street private equity firm.
